Dear students,

are you looking for a master thesis with impact? You always wanted to travel to Africa? You want to get your hands dirty on the aCar?
Then join us on our journey to understand the potential of electric vehicles for rural communities in sub-Saharan Africa with globalDrive!

During the winter semester 21/22, we will be working on solutions to sustainably integrate the aCar within agricultural supply chains in Ethiopia and/or Côte d'Ivoire.
You will be working in a team of four TUM students and join forces with four students from Africa. Together, you will understand the challenges local users currently face when it comes to transportation, think about mechanical and digital solutions and develop a real-world prototype to be tested in the field. This hands-on research will be the basis for your master thesis and be supervised by members of our institute.

Sounds fun, where can I apply?
At the beginning of the project, the TUM team will be traveling to Ethiopia/Côte d'Ivoire for two weeks to get to know the context and partners. This trip will be fully funded by our institute. Your team members from Africa will travel to Munich at the end of the project and for the final event.
Since the global implications of COVID-19 are barely predictable, and we don't want to make you fill a long application for an uncertain event, so we offer you the chance to sign up for our mailing list to get the latest updates about the application process and the dates for globalDrive 2021/22 in your postbox.

--> Follow the link, and we will get in touch with you soon!
